Description

Government surplus item. Truck was driven around our yard and appears to function as required but overall operating condition is unknown. 2003 Sterling Tandem Axle Dump with Cummins 8.3L 6-cylinder diesel engine – Eaton Fuller 13-speed manual transmission – 128624 kms – no visible hour meter. Front axle rated 18000 lbs.; rear axles rated 40000 lbs. Eagle xx yard steel dump body with tarp system. Tires appear to be in good condition. Glass appears to be in good condition – tar stained. Interior is stained and dirty – no major rips or tears on seats. Various marks; scratches; rust; tar staining and small dents on exterior. Dump system raises and lowers – tarp system is operational but may require maintenance. Brake pedal is sticky and brake lights may stay illuminated. All vehicle options were NOT fully tested and some are untested. Item may have outstanding recalls and buyer should ensure they have all necessary permits and licensing to own/operate vehicle. Vehicle has been declared as having previous cumulative damage over $2000. “Engine Protect” light on dash stays illuminated after vehicle has been running. Expect item to require maintenance; repairs or certification prior to use. See images and YouTube video for more information. Inspection highly recommended prior to placing bids. Buyer required to show transfer of ownership prior to removal – NO exceptions.
