Description
Estate Vehicle. Registration has a “normal” designation and vehicle is declared as having “previous cumulative damage over $2000”. Vehicle was driven to our location and then driven around our yard and appears to function as required but overall operating condition is unknown.
1997 Freightliner FL80 single axle service truck equipped with an Altec AM650 50 foot aerial platform. Boom system has an insulated rating – may require inspection or certification. Engine is a 6 cylinder 8.3L Cummins diesel rated at 250 HP with an Allison automatic transmission. Odometer appears to have been replaced – actual mileage unknown. Hour meter indicates 8423 hours. Service body appears to be fibreglass with upper aluminium storage boxes. Aerial boom is operational – appears to operate as required using lower controls – not fully tested. Interior is in reasonable condition with some marks and scratches. Some screw holes are visible from radio and equipment mounting and removal. Exterior has visible scratches and small dents. Tires appear to be in reasonable condition. Glass appears to be in good condition. Date of last certification on the boom system is unknown – sticker on window indicates last Commercial Vehicle Inspection expired in January 2022.
All vehicle options were NOT fully tested and some are untested. Item may have outstanding recalls and buyer should ensure they have all necessary permits and licensing to own/operate vehicle. Vehicle has been declared as having previous cumulative damage over $2000. Expect item to require maintenance; repairs or certification prior to use. See images and YouTube video for more information. Inspection highly recommended prior to placing bids. Buyer required to show transfer of ownership prior to removal – NO exceptions.
