Description
Government Surplus Item. Registration has a “normal” designation and vehicle is declared as having “previous cumulative damage over $2000”. Vehicle was driven around our yard and appears to function as required but overall operating condition is unknown.
2002 Volvo single-axle cab-over street flusher/water tanker truck. Engine is a 7.3L 6-cylinder diesel with an Allison automatic transmission – 97746 kms. Hour meter indicates 3200 hours Vehicle is equipped with an OMCO EHFS 422BJR water tank and street flusher system – tank appears to be either aluminium or stainless steel – non magnetic. Flusher system requires repairs as some plastic fittings were indicated to have been split or damaged – other repairs may be required. Interior is in decent condition with some marks; scratches and visible wear. Some screw holes are visible from radio and equipment mounting and removal. Exterior has visible scratches and small dents – cab damaged on passenger front corner. Tires appear to be in good condition. Glass appears to be in good condition. Vehicle arrived requiring a boost – new batteries installed at auction site.
All vehicle options were NOT fully tested and some are untested. Item may have outstanding recalls and buyer should ensure they have all necessary permits and licensing to own/operate vehicle. Vehicle has been declared as having previous cumulative damage over $2000. Expect item to require maintenance; repairs or certification prior to use. See images and YouTube video for more information. Inspection highly recommended prior to placing bids. Buyer required to show transfer of ownership prior to removal – NO exceptions.
