Government surplus item. Item was indicated to be unused – containment boom has never been deployed. Information regarding the specific boom type and length was not located. Frame and reel are hydraulic-powered for ease of deployment and recovery. Heavy duty aluminium construction with various lifting points. Item was indicated to be designed for use on a marine vessel or dock and the various lifting points allow easy and immediate temporary installation when a spill response is required. Hydraulic controls and quick-connect system in place. Manufacturer pamphlets and specifications have been included within the provided images.
