Description
Government Surplus Item. Registration has a “normal” designation and vehicle is declared as having cumulative damage over $2000. Item was moved to our location by highway tractor. 2013 Wilkens 53 foot Live Floor Triple Axle trailer – 205157 kms. Item is equipped with Keith-style steel slat walking floor. Rear axles have a 49 inch axle spacing and include an axle lift option – see images. Trailer is designed for feed; silage; refuse; demolition and other various materials but was used as a refuse transfer trailer in the Metro Vancouver area. Item was “in service” and still being used until May 2023. Item is reported to be in operating condition and was deemed surplus because a replacement unit has been purchased. Steel construction with various marks and scratches from use – some visible rust. Tires appear to be in good condition. Manufacturer information indicates an axle rating of 29485 kg or 65000 lbs. Item is assumed to be operational but item may require maintenance and repairs prior to service. Item may have outstanding recalls and buyer should ensure they have all necessary permits and licensing to own/operate vehicle. Vehicle has been declared as having previous cumulative damage over $2000. Expect item to require maintenance; repairs or certification prior to use.
