Description
Government surplus item. Registration has a “normal” designation and vehicle is declared as having “previous cumulative damage over $2000” and requires repairs. Vehicle was driven around our yard and appears to function as required but overall operating condition is unknown – garbage packer untested.
2005 Sterling Condor tandem axle chassis with a 30 cubic yard Pendpac Alleygator 30RHVS side-load garbage packer - 185993 kms on odometer - 21335 engine hours on meter.
Engine is a CAT C7 6-cylinder diesel with push-button automatic transmission. Tires appear to be in good condition. Air ride driver's seat – right-hand drive. Glass appears to be in good condition. Some visible rust; marks; scratches and small dents on exterior. Small holes are visible in interior from equipment removal – some wires may have been cut. Decommissioning report indicates the hydraulic pump requires replacement and the hopper floor may soon need repairs. Vehicle was in active use in May 2023. All vehicle options were NOT fully tested and some are untested. Item may have outstanding recalls and buyer should ensure they have all necessary permits and licensing to operate vehicle. Vehicle has been declared as having previous cumulative damage over $2000. Expect item to require maintenance; repairs or certification prior to use.
