Description
Item was indicated by the consignor to be quite old – not confirmed. Appears to have been carved from a single piece of wood. Wood type appears to be cedar. Item has some small metal mounting brackets attached to the rear – see images. Top has been capped using a small piece of galvanized sheeting – see images. It appears to have possibly been repainted or previously restored since there appears to be layers of paint visible in some sections. In some areas the paint appears to be flaky – easy to come off.
