Description
Government Surplus Item. Registration has a “normal” designation. Vehicle was driven around our yard and appears to function as required but overall operating condition is unknown. 2007 Freightliner M2 Business Class single axle tree service truck. Vehicle is equipped with a Versalift VO260 60 foot aerial platform. Boom system has an insulated rating – may require inspection or certification – inspection was due August 15 2023. Vehicle is also equipped with a rear dump box; front-mounted PTO winch and remote control spotlight. Engine is a Mercedes Benz 6.4L 6-cylinder diesel rated at 210 HP with an Eaton Fuller standard transmission. Odometer reads 109220 kms – with hour meter reading 11817 hours. Aerial boom appears to operate as required – NOT fully tested. Interior is in reasonable condition with some marks and scratches – driver's seat torn. Some screw holes are visible from radio and equipment mounting and removal. Exterior has visible scratches and small dents. Tires appear to be in fair condition. Glass appears to be in good condition. Air warning alarm remains audible after vehicle has been running – air tank appears to be missing a fitting? Vehicle still moves forward and backward (hydraulic brakes). Decommissioning report indicates power steering pump replacement required – power steering appears to operate but repairs may be needed. All vehicle options were NOT fully tested and some are untested. Item may have outstanding recalls and buyer should ensure they have all necessary permits and licensing to own/operate vehicle. Expect item to require maintenance; repairs or certification prior to use. See images and YouTube video for more information. Inspection highly recommended prior to placing bids. Buyer required to show transfer of ownership prior to removal – NO exceptions.
