Description
Government surplus item – ex-emergency vehicle. Vehicle was driven around our yard and appears to function as required but overall operating condition is unknown. 1999 Freightliner FL50 crew cab Fire Rescue truck with mini pumper system. Engine is a Cummins ISB 6-cylinder 24 valve diesel with automatic transmission – 192981 kms – 14302 engine hours. Multi-door body assembled by Fort Garry Fire Trucks – serial and model number in images. Water tank and fire pumping system included – operating condition unknown. Compartments are designed for various tool and equipment storage. Cab is designed for 5-passengers. Emergency equipment has been removed – some wires may have been cut during removal. Screw holes visible in dash. Tires appear to be in good condition. Glass appears to be in good condition. Interior is dirty with some visible stains. Various marks and scratches on exterior. Hydraulic-style brakes with air operated parking brake. RCP-WB night scan telescoping light tower attached to roof of service body with wired control included. All vehicle options were NOT fully tested and some are untested. Item may have outstanding recalls and buyer should ensure they have all necessary permits and licensing to own/operate vehicle. Vehicle has been declared as having previous cumulative damage over $2000 and previously used as an emergency vehicle. Expect item to require maintenance; repairs or certification prior to use.
